MURP UGM – University of Groningen Double Degree Program

The Double Degree MURP UGM – University of Groningen Scholarship is a prestigious opportunity provided by the Faculty of Engineering at Universitas Gadjah Mada for foreign students pursuing a double degree in Urban and Regional Planning. The study program is set to commence in August 2024.

This scholarship aims to support students during the initial year of the Double Degree Program at Universitas Gadjah Mada in Yogyakarta before transitioning to the University of Groningen. 

The scholarship includes the following benefits:

  1. Living Allowance: Monthly stipend of 3,250,000 IDR (with the average living cost in Yogyakarta estimated at 2,500,000 IDR per month).
  2. KITAS/Living Permit: Provision of a one-year KITAS (living permit) for the duration of the first year.
  3. Round-Trip Ticket: Coverage for a round-trip ticket, subject to terms and conditions.
  4. Health Insurance:  Comprehensive health insurance coverage for the scholarship
  5. Partial Tuition Fee Coverage: Contribution towards tuition fees for the first two semesters. (The tuition fee for the MURP UGM double degree is 15,000,000 IDR per semester, and the scholarship will cover 10,000,000 IDR per semester).
  6. Dormitory at UGM Residence: Accommodation in the UGM Residence dormitory during the first year of the program.

To be considered for this scholarship, candidates must be registered in the MURP Double Degree program at Universitas Gadjah Mada. Please find the detailed information about application process below:

Students who register with our admissions system will automatically be considered potential recipients of this scholarship. Thus, no additional steps need to be taken to get this scholarship. Please note that the scholarship has a limited quota that varies from year to year.
