Yogyakarta, June 15-17, 2026 — Marking the culmination of this semester’s practice-based academic activities, the Master’s Program in Urban and Regional Planning (MPWK) at Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) successfully hosted its Studio Final Semester Examination. The event served as a strategic platform for students to present their field research findings, in-depth analyses, and innovative planning programs for their designated study areas.
Divided into several working groups, students delivered comprehensive assessments of the current conditions in their respective locations. They analyzed crucial aspects ranging from spatial layouts and socio-economic dynamics to regional development challenges and opportunities. Based on robust field data, each group formulated contextual and highly applicable planning solutions geared toward long-term development tailored to local characteristics.
