Academic Extension and Re-registration for Graduate Students

To all students of the Applied Bachelor, Bachelor’s, Professional, and Postgraduate Programs at Universitas Gadjah Mada, please be informed that the re-registration and payment of the Tuition Fee (UKT) for the Even Semester of the 2025/2026 Academic Year are regulated as follows:

1. Student Re-Registration

Students from the Class of 2025 and earlier who will continue their studies in the Even Semester of the 2025/2026 Academic Year, as well as students who have not yet been declared graduated by 31 January 2026, are required to re-register by completing their tuition fee payment.

Tuition fee payments can be made from 2–31 January 2026 through UGM partner banks, namely:

  1. Bank Negara Indonesia (BNI),
  2. Bank Mandiri,
  3. Bank Tabungan Negara (BTN),
  4. Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BRI),
  5. Bank Syariah Indonesia,
  6. Bank Pembangunan Daerah (BPD) DIY, and
  7. CIMB Niaga.

Further information on re-registration requirements and processes, requests for tuition fee payment deferral or reduction, sanctions, and other related regulations is also available in the same document.

Documents required for submitting requests such as study period extension, academic leave, return to active study, and other academic services can be asked to the academic staff.

2. Study Period Extension

Students whose study period ends on or before 31 January 2026 will have their tuition fee payment temporarily locked.

To reopen tuition fee payment access and continue their studies in the Even Semester of the 2025/2026 Academic Year, students must submit an application for study period extension through their respective SIMASTER accounts no later than 23 January 2026.

Subsequently, approval from the Study Program and/or Faculty/School must be obtained through http://student.simaster.ugm.ac.id no later than 27 January 2026. All applications for study period extension must be processed online through SIMASTER.

3. Graduated Students Awaiting Graduation Ceremony

Students who have been officially declared graduated based on the graduation report of the Faculty/School/Department/Study Program by 31 January 2026 and are only awaiting graduation or inauguration are not required to re-register and are exempted from tuition fee payment for the Even Semester of the 2025/2026 Academic Year.
