Yogyakarta, 9 April 2025 — The Master Program in Urban and Regional Planning (MURP) Universitas Gadjah Mada conducted interviews with prospective students from Timor Leste as part of the 2025/2026 admission process. The interview was led by the Head of the MPWK Program, Dr.Eng. Muhammad Sani Roychansyah, S.T., M.Eng., IAP, representing the department in selecting international scholarship recipients.

This interview marks an important stage in the selection process for a special scholarship program, which is the result of a collaboration between Universitas Gadjah Mada and the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Culture of Timor Leste established in November 2024. The program aims to provide opportunities for outstanding students from Timor Leste to pursue postgraduate studies at UGM.

As an inclusive university committed to fostering international cooperation, UGM welcomes students from around the world, including Timor Leste. The interview process is designed not only to assess academic readiness but also to evaluate the applicants’ motivation and alignment with their chosen study program.
